Textbook.com Scholarship
Applying students are required to compose an essay and reference a single book on a designated topic. Essays for the Akademos Inc award are required to be between 250 and 750 words. There will be a single grand prize winner chosen and two runners-up. Please refer to the website for for current essay topics: http://www.textbookx.com/scholarship.
Award: The Akademos Inc award is for use during freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior years. This scholarship is not renewable. Number: The number of awards given is 3. Amount: The amount of this award is $250-$2,000.
Requirements for Eligibility: The applicant must either be enrolled or anticipating to enroll full-time or part-time at a two-year, four-year college or university, or technical school. The applicant must also show an interest in writing. This college scholarship is available to both U.S. and non-U.S. citizens.
Requirements for Application: Application and essay. Deadline: October 31.
