Nadeen Burkeholder Williams Music Scholarship
This scholarship provides $1,000 to a superior K-12 teacher who is seeking a graduate degree from an authorized university or college who either uses music systematically in teaching of another subject, or is a music education teacher. A grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher is required.
Academic Discipline/ Professional Aspirations: Education; Music.
Award: This scholarship is for use during freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate years. This scholarship is not renewable. Number: The number of scholarships awarded is 1-5. Amount: The amount of the scholarship awarded is $1,000.
Requirements for Eligibility: Applicants are required to either be enrolled or anticipating to enroll part-time or full-time at a four-year college or university. Applicants should also have an interest in music. An applicant or a parent of the applicant must have volunteer or employment experience in education/teaching. Applicants are required to have a minimum grade point average of 3.5. This school scholarship is available to both United States citizens and non-United States citizens.
Requirements for Application: Essay composition, application, resume, personal references, portfolio. Deadline: February 10.
