Joseph C. Johnson Memorial Grant

This grant for $750 is awarded to qualified applicants to counterbalance the cost of books, tuition, and lab fees.  The applicant is required to be a citizen of the United States or a legal resident of the country in which the applicant is currently residing, in addition to be either a student, regular, certified, registered or associated member of the American Society of Certified Engineering Technicians.  A student is required to be enrolled in an engineering and technology program of study.  For more information, please visit the following web site:  http://www.ascet.org.

Award: This grant is for use during freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior years.  This grant is not renewable.  Number: The number of grants awarded is 1. Amount: The amount of the grant awarded is $750.

Requirements for Eligibility: The applicant is required to be enrolled or anticipating to enroll part-time or full-time at a two-year, four-year, or technical school or university.  The applicant is required to have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.  This grant is only available to citizens of the United States.

Requirements for Application: Application, photo, personal references, school transcript, and financial need assessment.  Deadline: April 1.
