American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering Student of the Year Scholarship

This school scholarship award is for a full-time undergraduate engineering student in the United States or Canada.  Applicants are required to be active members of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers.  Applicants are required to have at least a 3.o grade point average (GPA).  This scholarship is a one-time award of $1,000.  Applicants must have completed one year of college, and are required to submit a paper entitled “My Goal in the Engineering Profession”.  Please write to the contact for further information and the special application procedures associated with this scholarship.

Academic Discipline/ Professional Aspirations: Engineering/Technology.

Award: This scholarship is for use during sophomore, junior, or senior years.  This scholarship is not renewable.  Number: The number of scholarships awarded is 1. Amount: The amount of the scholarship awarded is $1,000.

Requirements for Eligibility: The applicant is required to be enrolled or anticipating to enroll full-time at a four-year university or institution.  The applicant is required to have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.  This scholarship is available to citizens of the United States and Canada.

Requirements for Application: Essay composition, application, resume, personal references, and financial need assessment. Deadline: March17.
