American Legion National High School Oratorical Contest
This is a scholarship of up to $18,000 that will be awarded to the 3 finalists in the last round of the American Legion National High School Oratorical Contest. Current students in high school are eligible to apply for this scholarship competition.
Award: This scholarship is for use during freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior years. This scholarship is not renewable. Number: The number of scholarships awarded is 54. Amount: The amount of the scholarship awarded is $1,500-$18,000.
Requirements for Eligibility: The applicant is required to be a high school student, who is planning to enroll or anticipating to enroll full-time at a two-year or four-year college or university. The applicant should have a passion for public speaking. This school scholarship is accessible only to citizens of the United States.
Requirements for Application: Essay composition, application, personal references, school transcript, and photo. Deadline: Varies.
