Harry A. Applegate Scholarship
This scholarship is accessible to current members of the Distributive Education Clubs of America, for undergraduate study. Applicants are required to be majoring in marketing education, management, or merchandising. This is a nonrenewable, one-time scholarship for high school students. Award of this scholarship is based on grades, financial need, and Distributive Education Clubs of America activities.

Award: This scholarship is for use during freshman year only, and is not renewable. Number: The number of scholarships awarded is 20-25. Amount: The amount of the scholarship award is $1,000.
Requirements for Eligibility: The applicant is required to be a high school student, who is planning to enroll or anticipating enrollment full-time at either a two-year or four-year college or university. The applicant should demonstrate an interest in leadership. Either the applicant or a parent of the applicant is required to be a member of Distributive Education Clubs of America, or Future Business Leaders of America. This scholarship is available to United States Citizens and non-United States citizens.
Requirements for Application: Personal references, application, school transcript, and test scores. Deadline: February 15.
