L. Ron Hubbard’s Illustrators of the Future Contest
This in an ongoing contest for new and nonprofessional artists, that is assessed by professional artists. Eligible submissions should consist of three fantasy or science fiction illustrations. Prizes awarded range in amount from $500 to $5,000. This contest has quarterly deadlines of December 31, March 31, June 30, and September 30. All entrants retain the rights to their submitted artwork.
Award: The awarded prize money is for use during freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior years. The awarded prize is not renewable. Number: The number of contestants awarded with prize money is up to 12. Amount: The amount of the prize awarded is $500-$5,000.
Requirements for Eligibility: The applicant is required to be enrolled or anticipating to enroll part-time or full-time at a two-year, four-year, or technical college or university. The applicant is required to demonstrate an interest in art. This illustration contest is open to citizens of the United States and non-United States citizens.
Requirements for Application: Applicant must enter the competition, submit a self-addressed stamped envelope, and 3 illustrations. Deadline: varies.
