Humane Studies Fellowships
This is a a renewable scholarship award for undergraduate and graduate students in certain educational disciplines. Applicants should have demonstrated a passion for classical liberal or libertarian ideas and should intend to seek an academic profession. Applicants are required to have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5. There is a $25 application fee.
Academic Disciplines/Career Aspirations: History; Economics; Communications; Humanities; Law/Legal Services; Political Science; Literature/English/Writing; Social Sciences.
Award: This scholarship is for use during junior or senior years. This scholarship is not renewable. Number: The number of scholarships awarded is 140 to 180. Amount: The amount of the scholarships awarded is $2,000-$12,000.
Requirements for Eligibility: The applicant must be enrolled or anticipating to enroll in a a two-year or four-year college or university. The applicant is required to have a grade point average of at least 3.5. This scholarship is available to citizens of the United States and Canada.
Requirements for Application: Application, resume, essay composition, personal reference, test scores, and school transcript. Fee: $25. Deadline: December 31.
