HP Scholar Award
These scholarship awards are for $3,000 per year for up to four years, and are meant to assist in paying for educational costs. Applicants are required to be minority (African American, Latino, or American Indian) students who will be seeking a bachelor of science degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering at an HP Scholar partnership institute.
Academic Disciplines/Professional Aspirations: Computer Science/Data Processing; Electrical Engineering/Electronics.
Award: This scholarship is for use during freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior years. This scholarship is renewable for a total of up to four years. Number: The number of scholarships awarded is up to 30. Amount: The amount of the scholarships awarded is up to $3,000.
Requirements for Eligibility: The applicant is required to be American Indian/Alaska Native, Black (non-Hispanic), or Hispanic and be enrolled or anticipating to enroll full-time at a four-year or technical school or university. This scholarship is accessible only to citizens of the United States.
Requirements for Application: Application, school transcript, personal references, and resume. Deadline: March 15.
