John M. Ford Memorial Award
This scholarship was created to memorialize John M. Ford who taught for many years at Clemson University. This civil engineering scholarship is awarded to students who excel and show true talent in the field of civil engineering and wish to pursue it in a professional capacity. Other civil engineering scholarships offered by Clemson include the Sherwood E. Liles Engineering Scholarship, Polly H. & Walter Lowry Memorial Scholarship, Kenneth D. Hobbs Endowment Scholarship, and more.
Bechtel Foundation Scholarship
One of the civil engineering scholarships offered by the Society of Women Engineers is available to sophomores, juniors, and seniors pursuing an education in civil engineering. This is awarded to two women with each amounting to $1,400. Applicants must be members of the Society of Women Engineers and maintain a GPA of 3.0+. Others offered by the Society of Women Engineers include the General Electric Women’s Network, ITT Scholarship, the Elizabeth McLean Memorial Scholarship, and others.
AWS Arsham Amirikian Engineering Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the field of civil engineering. It is awarded annually and is available to those who are 18 years of age and up, maintains a GPA of 3.0+, are high school graduates, provide proof of financial need, and are legal citizens of the United States and plan on attending a US engineering college or university.
Matsuo Bridge Company LTD of Japan Scholarship
This scholarship is available nationwide to students looking to pursue an education in one of the following fields: civil engineering, welding engineering, welding engineering technology, or other similar fields. Although this civil engineering scholarship is available nationwide, prospective students from California, Texas, Oregon, or Washington will be given priority. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, be legal residents of the United States, looking to attend or attend a US college or university, maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher, and have a valid passport and available to travel either in August or July.
