This is a grant aimed at low or middle income students who are residents of Ohio attending a school or college that has been approved within the Ohio or Pennsylvania areas. Students must be enrolled in full time coursework and be in need of financial assistance. This grant may be used for any coursework excepting theology.

Award: This is a renewable grant to be applied to freshman, sophomore, junior or senior years. The number of awards given varies. Award amounts range from $78 to $5466.

Requirements for Eligibility: Those who apply must either be presently enrolled or must anticipate enrollment in full time coursework at a two or four year university or institution. Students must be Ohio residents and US citizens studying in either Ohio or Pennsylvania.

Requirements for Application: Application, analysis of financial need. The deadline for these materials is October 1.

Bridge To Success Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students living in New Mexico who are US citizens. Those who apply must be graduates from a public New Mexico high school, or an accredited private school, or be GED recipients. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, or a GED score of at least 530. The deadline to apply for this scholarship varies by semester: June 30 for fall applicants, and November 30 for spring applicants.

Award: This is a nonrenewable scholarship to be applied to the freshman year. There is a varying number of scholarships available, and the amount awarded will also vary.

Requirements for Eligibility: Those who apply must be high school students who plan to enroll or anticipate enrollment in full time coursework at a four year university or institution. Students must be New Mexico residents and US citizens. Applicants must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA.

Palmetto Fellows Scholarship Program

This scholarship program offers a renewable award to eligible South Carolina high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year school in South Carolina. The scholarship is to be used for the costs of attendance, less other financial aid gifts received.

Award: This is a renewable scholarship to be applied to freshman year. There are 4846 awards available in amounts ranging from $6,700 to $7,500.

Requirements for Eligibility: Those who apply must be students in high school who are planning to enroll or anticipate enrollment for full time coursework at a four year university or institution. Students must be South Carolina residents who are attending South Carolina universities. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required. The scholarship is available to US citizens.

Requirements for Application: Application, transcript, test scores. The deadline for these materials is December 15.

TEA Don Sahli-Kathy Woodall Sons and Daughters Scholarship

This is a scholarship given to students who are children of TEA members that are either seniors in high school, undergraduate or graduate students, and who plan to enroll in or are already enrolled in a college in Tennessee.

Award: This is a nonrenewable scholarship to  be applied to freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate years. There is one award available in the amount of $1,000.

Requirements for Eligibility: Those who apply must either be presently enrolled in or anticipating enrollment in full time coursework at a four year university or institution. Applicants must also be Tennessee residents who are studying in Tennessee. Those who apply or parents of those who apply must be members of the Tennessee Education Association. A minimum of 3.0 GPA is required. This award is available to US citizens.

Maine Legislative Memorial Scholarship

Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship – Illinois

Access to Better Learning And Education Grant

This Florida grant program gives tuition assistance to undergraduate students in Florida who are enrolled in eligible private university or college degree programs within the state. Gear Up Alaska Scholarship

The Gear Up Alaska scholarship awards as much as $7000 every year for as many as four years of undergraduate work, and up to $3500 per year for half-time study, for students who were a part of the GEAR UP Programs during their middle school years (sixth, seventh, and eighth grade), and who have achieved the scholastic milestones in place in their district. Students have to reapply every year, and a GEAR UP program director needs to sign their applications. Applicants must be seniors in high school in the state of Alaska, or alternatively they may have an Alaska GED or diploma. Applicants have to submit FAFSA paperwork and demonstrate financial need. All applicants must be 22 years old or younger.

Award: This is a non-renewable scholarship to be applied to either freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior years. The number of awards varies each year. The award ranges from $3500 to $7000.

Requirements for Eligibility: Students who apply must be 22 years of age or younger, and must either be presently enrolled or be expecting to enroll for full or part time coursework at a two or four year university or institution. Applicants must be Alaska residents. This scholarship is available for US citizens.
